The writing itself--the word-flow and semantic forms--was entertaining and supported a profluence in the tale.<br />
<br />
The transition to Lenny and the one to Aladdin were, to me, a bit jarring.<br />
<br />
I thought that, when the Dr. appeared, some resolution of events would begin but, if that happened, I missed it.<br />
<br />
Overall, I kept feeling that I was in a story that depended heavily on some previous story's backstory for understanding.<br />
<br />
Once I finished, I noticed the link to Xanadu and wished I had the time to go explore it and come back to read GNE with more capability to understand.<br />
<br />
