Oh, and while I'm at it, would you like me to offer my services as a wiki markup craftsman to set up some tables or other formatting tricks and templates for this page? The layout is a bit spartan right now and if you're thinking of adding complexity it might be a good idea to get things set up to keep updating easy. [[User:Bryan|Bryan]] 19:45, 8 February 2008 (EST)

I agree; blurbs are good.  Personally, I'm generally fairly hesitant about reading a story unless I have at least some inkling on whether it'll attract or repel me.  You can't always trust a title to reflect content; scrolling down a list of links hoping to find something interesting can lead to very mixed results.  --[[User:Joysweeper|Joysweeper]] 20:31, 9 February 2008 (EST)

Devin, I got all the links fixed up. :) --Buck 01:09, 28 August 2007 (EDT)

Thanks! --Devin 01:24, 28 August 2007 (EDT)

Awesome! This is the sort of thing I was hoping to see develop, if you want any other assistance with wiki syntax just let me know. I'm pretty experienced with that sort of thing. :) Bryan 02:05, 28 August 2007 (EDT)

Thanks, I got some help from jon and SW already with this article but I'll remember that! --Devin 23:24, 29 August 2007 (EDT)

Stories on both sites

A couple of the stories you've listed on TSA are now on Shifti as well. Perhaps include a link to the local version as well as the link to the TSA version? Bryan 17:23, 2 September 2007 (EDT)

Thanks for the suggestion, though looking at it I just decided to show the stories on shifti as those are the ones the author is most likely to want people to see. --Devin 21:25, 7 September 2007 (EDT)

Blurbs

As maintainer of a faves list myself, I find that blurbs are most helpful in helping me keep track of stories I've already read that have not-quite-so-memorable names. I may not remember what the story titled "Farmer Brown" is about but a blurb that mentions radioactive cows and crop circles will prompt my memory. :) I think blurbs would be useful to me on other faves lists by helping me remember which stories I've already read and drawing my attention to the ones that I haven't read yet. I'd recommend phrasing them in such a way as to avoid spoilers, though. Bryan 19:45, 8 February 2008 (EST)
