Who is RiceFox?

My real name is Christian-Andrew (or my middle name is, anyways). I'm 17, but I'll be 18 on January 14. I like most forms of tf and tg. I am rather tolerant of others and very accepting of differences. I'm slightly left of political center and a bit more libertarian than authoritarian. I like video games, anime, manga, languages, science, literature, and many other things. I also have a slight case of Asparagus... erm, I mean Asperger Syndrome (at least, I did, until they decided for the fifth time it was a high functioning autism). So I can be awkward at times. I am male and identify as male, and am heterosexual, but I'll be homosexual next Tuesday for a hamburger today. ;)

I have other accounts too, here's just a few: NationStates FA Forums

Why "RiceFox"?

It's my second favorite food plus my favorite animal. It's not my favorite food because Chocolate-Icecream-Fox just sounds awkward, haha. And really it goes somewhat deeper than that. My first stable internet handle was Error (something-something). I was 13. Later I switched to Captain (insert thing here). A year or so ago, I was on a forum and was called Captain Ricecake. People started calling me Rice, which I found adorable and adopted as my own screen name. Now all my screennames have "Rice" in some shape or form, the exception being Tursund, formed from the Swedish words that mean, roughly, Luck and Sound. It's a play off the Japanese word for fox, Kitsune: one word for good luck is "kitsu" and if you put "oto" for sound at the end, it reads as "Kitsune" ("luck-sound").

Characters and Settings created by RiceFox in the Past

In the past I have created a number of characters and settings.

Renard Tursund, Allen Clockworker, Sun, Sol, Risuo Kiku, and many other characters I made were virtually clones of the same fox-boy template. Other characters that aren't human include Luna (cat girl), Kitsune Hachi (a fox who can become furry or human), and Gwashi Gande (demon wolf thing). Human characters include Nix, Sarah, Aria Meta, and many, many others I can't even begin to recall.

As for settings, I've created several, from fantasy worlds to alternate real-worlds to alternate futures. I recall one was set in alternate present-day (sorta, I wrote it 3-5 years before the dates, 2010-2012, occurred), and the location was based on a small town in NW New Mexico. The main character was an experiment of a time-traveling scientist from 28XX who got stranded in New Mexico a few hundred years ago and ended up dying, but not before sending his creations, Project SOL and Project LUNA, into space, where they would be frozen in time until crashing back down to earth in late 2010 and early 2011. These two projects, Sol and Luna, are the central focus of the story, along with the human characters Sarah, a highschool student in second year, and Nix, a highschool student in first year who was adopted by Sarah. Sarah lives alone with Nix due to a tragic accident, but due to local laws was allowed to stay where she was since she was old enough to provide for herself. Shortly before they died, Sarah's parents adopted Nix at Sarah's request. Nix himself has a tragic backstory of abuse that lasted for most of his life and is very attached to Sarah. The collision of these two with Luna and Sol is what begins the whole story, but meanwhile something much more sinister is happening behind the scenes...

Another was an alternate future set around 23XX, about a hundred or so years after humanity finally recovered from WWIII and the surface became uninhabitable. It included GMOs (Genetically Modified Organisms) who are immune to the radiation and magical humans that came about as a genetic mutation. These two groups popped up around the same time and eventually were the main reason behind WWIII in 2096. In 23XX, Cynthia Stein and her friends must team up to fight against the tyrannical the "Albien Empair" (Or the Albion Empire for those of you who speak an older, more 21st Century appropriate version of English), which controls most of western Europe and seeks to expand even more by tricking the "Slavik aend Arabien Empairz" into a false sense of security and taking their land. It was actually a pretty decent idea, I just couldn't seem to execute it properly.

Another notable past creation was the fantasy setting of Radle, in which Kitsune are the native race and elves, dwarves, and humans came out of a portal to another world that suddenly opened up. The series was to be rich in backstory, have multiple languages, and be full of possibility, but the series was dropped due to loss of interest. In fact, fantasy seems to be the genre I stop working on the quickest. Hm... odd.

One time I even attempted to combine many of my non-fantasy stories into one canon, but in my opinion it was a total mess. The narrative was messy and convoluted, and most of it made no sense at all, with paradoxes and contradictions popping up everywhere. Here's the timeline of this mash-up from a non-chronological story point of view.

  • circa 28XX Early life of Scientist
  • 3296-3300 Sol and Luna created, given to parents to raise, and sent back in time at "The End"
  • circa 28XX Scientist adopts the now 5 years old children
  • 1409-1410 Scientist trapped in past in North America, killed due to carelessness around natives, Sol/Luna launched into space in suspended animation for 600 years.
  • 1996 Sarah is born
  • 1997 Nix is born
  • 2002 Sarah discovers a piece of the broken Time Machine, intertwining her timeline with Sol's timeline
  • 2008 Sarah adopts Nix
  • 2009 Sarah's parents tragically die
  • 2010-2012 Sol and Luna return to Earth (Not Quite Human)
  • 2013-2020 Sol's adventures after Not Quite Human (Not Quite Human: Aftermath)
  • 208X-2096 Events leading up to WW3, GMOs and Magic-wielding humans come into play
  • the 2200s People live underground to avoid radiation
  • circa 22XX Sol's adventures conclude here... sort of (Not Quite Human: Memoria)
  • ????-???? A mysterious boy who can't remember his name has adventures in other worlds for 14 years (Clockwork Aria; Clockwork Search; Clockwork Ending)
  • circa 234X Alexander and a mysterious young man team up to try an find out more about his lost memories (Clockwork: Memoria Again)
  • circa 234X Cynthia, Alexander, Artur, and Rosa help to stop the Three Great Empires from nearly destroying the world (Untitled)
  • circa 3300 "The End", a war that marked the death of the last of the humans, occurs. Start of the NE calendar system.
  • circa 4230 Also called: New Era 931. The world's population was replaced by this time with entirely anthropomorphic creatures, and many strange new animals and creatures. (???)
  • circa 8110 Start of the RC calendar system. The world is mysteriously void of any signs of human or anthro civilization. A new race, the Kitsune, take over.
  • circa 9800 Also called: Radle Chronicles 1691. Many humanoid races arrive from a parallel world. (Radle Chronicles)

RiceFox's Shifti Works

None uploaded yet.

I hope to be able to upload my other, non-transformation-related works somewhere else on the internet at some point. At least, the ones I have archived. Many of my works, finished or not, have disappeared forever into the depths of the forgotten past. However, none are available at the moment.

Rice's Interesting Short Story Idea Board

I am RiceFox, hear me brainstorm!!! Seven slots at a time, though, to save space.

  • 1995 - Paradise - That Which Goes Unseen
    • DETAILS HAVE BEEN REDACTED. Story in-progress.
  • 2005 - Paradise - Untitled
    • FtM TG FTW!
  • 2014 - "Not Quite Human Anymore"
    • Someone starts to get transformed into an animal, but escapes and is stuck halfway... consequences?
    • multiple TF'd peeps?
  • Universe Idea: "The Plothole"
    • Sucks up continuity, and shoots out inconsistencies like a black hole shoots radiation
    • Potential for lots of TF and weird shit
      • Suggested by Arrow: BIRD TF!!! (he would suggest that, haha :3)
    • "Severed head" thing mentioned in IRC would go great here... hehehe.
    • Side-note: I think the Nostalgia Critic may have done this one already, to an extent.
    • Chaos VS Order, Isfet VS Ma'at, Discord VS... you get the idea.
      • In the words of HawlSera: "I always dream of something like that making life more fair. Actually enforcing karma, improving the lives of the downtrodden and punishing the wicked. And the reason this isn't happening with Order is because we enforce Order to such an extent that it has turned wicked, all decayed... We're working Order too hard and now he's doing fucked up shit, like beaucracy and punishing people for being "different""
