New Separator Type
I beta-tested how a new separator type ('～•～,' or a bullet with full-width tildes to either side,) in an early revision of a story I'm working on, and I think it looks kind of nice. Can it be added as a separator type?

- It's a wiki, go ahead and give it a try. Just make sure to check if you've broken the template's other uses and roll back your change if you do. :) If you're literally wanting to use those text characters as the separator rather than images of the text characters, though, it might make more sense to create a separate template for it. Just glancing at the code it doesn't look like there's an obvious way to fit two completely different types of separator in here. Bryan (talk) 21:55, 21 May 2015 (CDT)
- All right, I'll give it a whirl, then. Hopefully, I don't break anything! I'll see if I can wrangle Template:Separator into accepting text-style separators as well as image-based ones, but if, as you predict, that proves futile, I'll probably either create another template like you suggested or just create a picture of those characters and add it in.
